Vehicle

Keep track of the vehicles involved in a claim.

Vehicles are a way to indicate which vehicles (e.g. cars, trucks, bikes etc.) are involved in a claim.

You can connect Damages to them and also indicate who the driver was.

Any vehicle connected to a claim can become the subject of that claim.

The `Vehicle` Object

Attribute	Data Type	Description
id	Integer	The unique ID for the vehicle given by Claimable.
created_at	Timestamp	Read Only. The date/time the vehicle was created.
vehicle_type	String	Required. The type of vehicle. One Of: `bicycle`, `bus`, `car`, `coach"`, `hgv`, `motorcycle`, `other`, `plant`, `suv`, `tractor_truck`, `trailer`, `truck`, `van`.
make	String	Required. The manufacturer of the vehicle, e.g. Land Rover.
model	String	Required. The model of the vehicle, e.g. Defender.
description	String	Read Only. A description of the vehicle.
registration_number	String	The vehicle's registration (licence plate) number.
registration_state	String	The state or region in which the vehicle is registered.
year_manufactured	Integer	The year the vehicle was manufactured.
number_of_seats	Integer	The number of seats in the vehicle.
engine_number	String	The engine number of the vehicle.
vin	String	The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) of the vehicle.
colour	String	The colour of the vehicle.
value	Integer	The value of the vehicle in cents/pence.
driver	Object	The person (`Contact`) who was driving the vehicle represented by a `Driver` object. Must be a contact connected to the claim.

The `Driver` Object

Attribute	Data Type	Description
id	Integer	The unique ID for the Contact given by Claimable.
first_name	String	Read Only. The driver's first name.
last_name	String	Read Only. The driver's last name.
business_name	String	Read Only. The driver's business name, if the driver is a business. Null otherwise.
is_business	String	Read Only. Indicates whether the driver is a business (true) or an individual (false).
name	String	Read Only. The driver's full name.
email	String	Read Only. The driver's email address.
