Why use the Claimable API?
Your imagination is the limit, but here are some common use cases to get you started!
Claimable is a claim management platform so the use-cases for integrating with our API revolve around claims-related activity and the need to send and retrieve claims data for various purposes.
Some of the most common use cases for API integration are:
📩 Capturing Claims
You may already have a form or application for your customers to submit claims. Perhaps it adds the claim to a database or notifies your team via email, but by leveraging the Claimable API you can send the claim straight to your Claimable account, ready for processing.
Check out our Claims endpoints to see how you can send and receive claims data.
👤 Syncing Contacts & Customers
If you sell things such as insurance or retail products, you will already have a database of your customers. Perhaps at the point of sale you collect details of your customer along with their purchase.
If a sale represents the possibility of a claim arising, you might wish to synchronise your customer data with your Claimable account so that there is a contact profile for each customer. By doing this in advance, before a claim is intimated, you'll reduce admin for your claims team when they process the claim, because the customer's details will already exist in Claimable.
Our Contacts endpoints are a great way to ensure your contacts in Claimable are up-to-date and in-sync with your other business systems.
📊 Pulling Data for Reporting
Claimable has a degree of built-in reporting, but for more advanced or business-specific requirements, you can fetch data via the Claimable API to archive in your data warehouse or analyse in some kind of management reporting tool, custom or otherwise.
